Guest arrival begins at 4:00 PM, and the ceremony begins promptly at 4:30 PM.
We’ve arranged two ways to get to the wedding. We recommend taking the shuttle, as parking at the venue is limited.

🚌 Take the Shuttle
Complimentary shuttle service from the Residence Inn La Jolla Marriott to Scripps Seaside Forum.

The Residence Inn is less than a 10-minute drive from the venue and is a convenient place to leave your car while you take the shuttle.
While the hotel parking lot is reserved for hotel guests, there is ample street parking on the surrounding streets, with no overnight parking restrictions. Please see the areas highlighted in green on the map below for available street parking.
As always, please follow any posted parking signs.

3:50 PM — Shuttle departs the Residence Inn
~4:00 PM — Arrives at Scripps Seaside Forum
Please arrive by 3:45 PM to ensure you’re ready to board.
↩️ After the Wedding
The shuttle will run back and forth between the venue and the Residence Inn from 9:00 PM to 10:45 PM.
10:45 PM — Last shuttle to the Residence Inn
11:00 PM — Grand exit — shuttle departs for the after-party venue
The 11:00 PM shuttle will go directly to the after-party venue rather than the Residence Inn.
Traveling with Children?
There is no age restriction for shuttle passengers, as long as children are accompanied by an adult.
Parents are welcome to bring and use their own car seats for babies and small children. Since the shuttle is reserved for us throughout the day, car seats can be left on the vehicle while you're at the wedding.

🚗 Drive to the Venue
Parking permits are limited. If you plan to drive directly to the wedding instead of taking the shuttle, please request a parking permit through the Transportation Survey →.
Important to Know
A parking permit does not guarantee a parking space. It permits you to park in the designated lots if a space is available.
Because Scripps Seaside Forum is next to a popular beach, all of the designated parking lots are expected to be very busy and frequently fill up. Street parking in the surrounding neighborhood is also very limited, so we strongly recommend allowing extra time if you plan to drive.
